Abstract

The pandemic has intensified the use of technology in work environments, representing a challenge for workers to develop technological skills to fulfill their functions. For this reason, the present study aimed to determine the relationship between the acceptance of technology and the work performance of workers who perform their activities through the use of information and communication technology (teleworkers). For this purpose, 308 people who stated that they were teleworking were surveyed. From a Spearman's Rho correlation analysis, the results showed a positive and significant relationship (Rho = 0.475, sig. = 0.000) between technological acceptance and job performance of teleworkers. Finally, it is concluded that for a company to achieve a good performance of workers in the telework modality, it is necessary that business leaders should conduct training and awareness programs to achieve a good acceptance of technology by their staff, in order to achieve good job performance and achieve their organizational objectives.
