Resumen
The optimization of performance and acquisition of competitive advantage is the result of effective knowledge management, its scope in society is fundamental, due to its importance, the objective was to demonstrate the validity and reliability of a scale to evaluate knowledge management in third sector organizations. Under a convenience non-probabilistic sampling, the participation of 186 workers from the third sector at the level of South America and Central America was obtained. The results establish a metric distributed across 04 factors with high reliability and validity indicators (α=0.896 to 0.951; CR=0.897 to 0.952; AVE=0.779 to 0.868); furthermore, the metric has a good fit index (CMIN/DF =2.160; CFI=0.981; SRMR=0.023; RMSEA=0.079 and Pclose=0.024). This scale could serve as a guide for informed decision-making aimed at improving work performance and competitiveness in third sector institutions.
