Item type:Publicación, El comercio electrónico como predictor del desempeño empresarial de las MIPYMEs en Montemorelos, Nuevo León, México(2025-12-31) ;Adriana Ruiz Berrio ;Arizú Isabel Aguilar EcheverríaThis research analyzes the relationship between the use of e-commerce and the business performance of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Montemorelos, Nuevo León. Using a quantitative approach and a correlational design, the study sought to determine the influence of digitalization on the performance of these organizations. Data was collected through surveys administered to 100 local businesses to assess the impact of digitalization on their development and growth. The study tested a null hypothesis (H0), which denied the predictive power of e-commerce, against an alternative hypothesis (H1) that affirmed it. The results of the regression analysis identified a positive and significant effect on business performance (B = 0.551, p < 0.001). Since the significance value was less than the α level of 0.05, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, confirming that the adoption of digital tools is a key predictor of business success in the studied context.Citas (OpenAlex): 0 - Algunas métricas están bloqueadas por suconfiguración de consentimiento

Item type:Publicación, e-RetailTest: Scale to Assess the Attitude of Consumers towards E-Commerce in the Retail Sector(2023-03-10) ;Elizabeth Emperatriz García-Salirrosas ;Rafael Fernando Rondon-Eusebio; Changes in consumer behavior are driven by tastes and preferences that change over time as their socioeconomic conditions change. The objective of this study was to validate the psychometric characteristics of the e-RetailTest scale, created to measure consumer attitudes towards online shopping in developing countries, particularly in the Peruvian market. The e-RetailTest evaluates five variables present in the online purchase process: (a) quality of web design, (b) risk when making a purchase, (c) customer service, (d) security and (e) satisfaction, with a total of twenty items using a Likert scale. A total of 422 valid responses were collected from Peruvian consumers who had had online shopping experience in the retail sector. Statistically, we worked with the AFE exploratory factor analysis and the AFC confirmatory factor analysis. The results suggest that this first version of the e-RetailTest presents adequate psychometric evidence to measure the attitude of consumers towards online purchases in the retail sector in the Peruvian market. Thus, it seeks to contribute to the advancement of the study of these important variables of Latin American consumer behavior.Citas (OpenAlex): 14 - Algunas métricas están bloqueadas por suconfiguración de consentimiento

Item type:Publicación, Validity and reliability analysis of a financial literacy scale in university students in Peru(2025-03-01) ;Mervin Juan Chávez-Ruiz ;Elizabeth Emperatriz García-Salirrosas ;Ghenkis A. Ezcurra-ZavaletaThe relevance and urgency of financial education have been notable in recent years as it seeks to contribute to the common good of society, particularly for the younger population. This study presents a validated financial literacy (FL) scale for Peruvian university students with a favorable degree of reliability. The FL scale analyzed includes two dimensions: financial behavior and attitude. To carry out this study, 400 university students from 15 different public and private universities from the coast, mountains, and jungle of Peru were surveyed. Confirmatory factor analysis provided adequate support for the two-factor model with 11 items (CMIN/DF =2.602; CFI =0.974; RMSEA =0.063; SRMR =0.045; and PClose =0.061), in addition to showing good internal consistency based on the values of Alpha (0.915, 0.873) and CR (0.916, 0.875). The results suggest that the scale presents adequate psychometric evidence to measure financial literacy in university students. Thus, it aims to contribute to the advancement of the scientific study of financial education in Peru.Citas (OpenAlex): 0metric-badges.view 13 - Algunas métricas están bloqueadas por suconfiguración de consentimiento

Item type:Publicación, Green Economy as a Driver of Corporate Social Responsibility: Opportunities and Challenges for MSEs(2025-08-21); This research addresses the difference between the green economy and corporate social responsibility (CSR), focusing on micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSEs) that produce textiles such as fabrics, clothing, footwear, and services in eastern Lima, Peru. In a global scenario where sustainability has become an essential pillar of economic, social, and environmental development, it is essential to understand how green economy concepts can be incorporated into local business activities. Given the significant role of MSEs in the national economy and their impact on employment and the social fabric, these companies face the challenge of balancing economic growth with responsible and sustainable practices. This study begins with a central question: how can sustainable economic practices promote CSR in this business sector? Using a quantitative approach, the study analyzes how the green economy acts as a driver of CSR in MSEs, as well as the degree of connection between the green economy and the implementation of social responsibility policies and actions in these companies. The results indicate a strong relationship between the two concepts (R2 = 0.91), suggesting that the green economy may be an important factor in promoting social and environmental commitment within these organizations. In conclusion, the green economy represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen CSR in MSMEs, providing economic, social, and environmental benefits, although it also entails challenges related to resources, knowledge, and organizational adaptation. This integration could be crucial for sustainable development at both the local and national levels.Citas (OpenAlex): 0metric-badges.view 3 - Algunas métricas están bloqueadas por suconfiguración de consentimiento
Item type:Publicación, Business Management Praxis, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship as a Predictor of Labor Productivity in MSEs(2025-03-06); ;Julio Peña ;Luis Eddie Cotacallapa SubiaDanny Lita Alomia LozanoThe connection between effective business management, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit is presented as a key predictor of labor productivity in Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs). Efficiency in business management, combined with innovative practices and the promotion of entrepreneurship, directly influences the labor productivity of MSEs. Efficient management involves the practical application of strategies that optimize resources, while an innovative culture allows agile adaptability to market dynamics. Entrepreneurship, as a driver, encourages the constant search for opportunities and creative solutions. The research analyzes how these three dimensions are predictors of labor productivity in MSEs, using a bibliographic review to establish inferences that support these relationships and provide clear and concise evidence to identify the concepts and definitions relevant to the research. A descriptive, explanatory, and quantitative study with a sample of 913 business people reveals a strong positive relationship between these variables (r = 0.80, r = 0.82, r = 0.80 and R2 = 0.831). Thus, labor productivity is positioned as a direct result of the synergy between skillful management, the promotion of innovation, and the infusion of an entrepreneurial spirit into companies' organizational culture.
