Effectiveness of the comprehensive training courses in the strategic alignment and lifestyle of the students of the Adventist University Corporation of Colombia

Abstract
El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la efectividad de los cursos de formación integral en el alineamiento estratégico y estilo de vida de los estudiantes de la Corporación Universitaria Adventista de Colombia, Medellín 2019. El método de estudio aplicado se enmarca en el campo de la Salud Publica y de enfoque cuantitativo de tipo no experimental de corte transversal, descriptivo correlacional. Aplicado a una población de 1.351 estudiantes con un muestreo no probabilístico no aleatorio enmarcado en un estudio exploratorio, en una muestra de 300 estudiantes ampliado a 544 por el investigador. Los resultados indican, en cuanto a la proporción al alineamiento estratégico de los estudiantes de la Corporación Universitaria Adventista de Colombia, se evidencia que un 80,9% no se encuentran alineados a la institución, un 17,6% un alineamiento aceptable y un 1.5% en nivel óptimo en su alineamiento y en relación al estilo de vida, un 81,8 % mantienen un estilo de vida no saludable, un 15,8 % en nivel aceptable y sólo 2,4 % en nivel saludable y en cuanto a las variables analizadas por separado, reportan que existe asociación significativa (0,03) de los cursos de formación integral sobre el alineamiento estratégico y existe asociación significativa (0,04) de los cursos de formación integral sobre el estilo de vida de los estudiantes de la Corporación Universitaria Adventista de Colombia, Medellín, 2019. En conclusión, los cursos de formación integral no influyen significativamente en ninguno de los factores: alineamiento estratégico (R2 = ,007 y sig ,057) y/o estilo de vida (R2 =,002 y sig ,28) de los estudiantes de la Corporación Universitaria Adventista de Colombia, Medellín, 2019 - The objective of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the comprehensive training courses in the strategic alignment and lifestyle of the students of the Adventist University of Colombia, Medellín 2019. The applied study method is framed in the field of Public Health and with a quantitative approach of a non-experimental type of cross-sectional and descriptive correlation. Applied to a population of 1,351 students with a non-random, non-probability sampling framed in an exploratory study, in a sample of 300 students expanded to 402 by the researcher. The results indicate regarding the proportion to the strategic alignment of the students of the Adventist University of Colombia, it is evident that 80.9% are not aligned to the institution, 17.6% presented an acceptable alignment and 1.5% an optimal level of alignment. Regarding lifestyle, 81.8% maintain an unhealthy lifestyle, 15.8% an acceptable level and only 2.4% are healthy. Regarding the variables analyzed separately, they report that there is a significant association (0.03) of the comprehensive training courses on strategic alignment and there is a significant association (0.04) of the comprehensive training courses on the lifestyle of students from the Adventist University of Colombia. In conclusion, comprehensive training courses do not significantly influence any of the factors: strategic alignment (R2 = .007 and sig, 057) and / or lifestyle (R2 =, 002 and sig, 28) of the students of the Adventist University of Colombia.
