Item type:Publicación, The Balanced Score Card as a Predictor of Supply Chain Improvement for ACES Peru, 2022(2024-05-05) ;Souza Galo, Roberto Daniel; The application of Balance Score Card (BSC) and Supply Chain (SC) as structured methods of strategic analysis is scarce and controversial in the business management of some companies, except in large industries competing in the globalized market. The objective of the study was to analyze the Balance Score Card as a predictive tool to improve the Supply Chain (SC) of the company ACES Peru, 2022. The study evaluates the BSC variables and the five dimensions of the CS variable: Supply, production, storage, transportation and distribution, a total of 24 items on a Likert scale. A total of 260 responses were collected from those who participated in the survey. Statistically, exploratory factor analysis, Varimax factorial rotation, KMO, CFI, TLI and RSMA tests were used. The results show that BSC was not a significant predictor of CS; however, the BSC variable is a significant predictor of the dimensions of the CS variable. In these circumstances the BSC model assumes the role of evaluator of the management strategies developed in ACES and improver of the predictor level of CS and its dimensions. Item type:Publicación, Application of artificial intelligence to measure attention levels in university students(2026-02-02) ;Edquén Barboza, Wilmer Alexander ;Carlos Flores Ramirez, Roberto ;Luna Villanueva, Jhon Marcos; Objective To evaluate the effect of an AI-assisted attentional monitoring system on the perception of class dynamism and the self-assessment of attention among university students. Methods A quasi-experimental design was employed with 160 students divided into an experimental group, which attended classes with attentional monitoring and real-time feedback provided to the teacher, and a control group, which received traditional instruction. Perception of attention and dynamism was assessed pre- and post-intervention using the AIDA questionnaire. Results The experimental group exhibited significant increases in perceived class dynamism and attentional self-regulation compared to the control group ( p < 0.05), demonstrating improved engagement during the session. Conclusion AI-assisted immediate feedback was associated with enhanced attention and student participation, highlighting the potential of such tools to support and strengthen teaching dynamics in in-person educational settings.Citas (OpenAlex): 1metric-badges.view 4 - Algunas métricas están bloqueadas por suconfiguración de consentimiento
Item type:Publicación, Influence of a chatbot based on a conversational agent on the adaptability of first-year students of a Peruvian private university(2024-11-13) ;Mejia, Yahaira Zileri Odalis Arapa ;Navarro, Christopher Andrew Dobson; Objective This study aims to evaluate the influence of using a chatbot-based conversational agent, named ODAbot, on the adaptability of first-year students at a private university in Peru. Methods The design of this study was pre-experimental with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 53 university students who participated in the research during March and April 2024. Participants completed pre-test and post-test questionnaires to assess their adaptability to university life before and after interacting with ODAbot. Additionally, a user experience questionnaire was used to measure satisfaction with the chatbot interaction. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to determine the statistical significance of the results. Results The results showed that the use of ODAbot had a significant impact on students’ adaptability, especially in the social dimension ( p = 0.000), while no significant differences were found in the institutional dimension ( p = 0.124). The user experience was positive, with students reporting ease of navigation and understanding of the responses provided by the chatbot. Conclusion A notable improvement was recorded in the social dimension, promoting peer integration, as well as in the academic dimension, where students expressed greater satisfaction with the information provided. However, no significant differences were observed in the institutional dimension. Overall, the implementation of chatbots presents a promising opportunity to improve the adaptability of university students and ensure a quality educational experience.Citas (OpenAlex): 5metric-badges.view 12
