Factors and Economic Growth of Peruvian Mypes
Purpose: Describe the factors that promoted the economic growth of MSEs in the city of Iquitos in the year 2021. Theoretical framework: The world we know has many shortcomings, schools, hospitals, infrastructure necessary to provide essential services to the entire population, and that economic activities, production, transportation, etc., allow and contribute to the presence of upstream supply of goods and services that people require for their livelihood (Aguilar Zuluaga, 2016). Methodology: For the development of this study, the qualitative approach of phenomenological - hermeneutic design was used, the informants were entrepreneurs, microentrepreneurs, officials of the Chamber of Commerce and officials of the Municipal Economic Development Management. Findings: The study provides information about the intrinsic reality that Peruvian MSEs are going through, that which economic indicators and quantitative studies do not provide. Contributions: The present study provides an analysis of the reality about economic growth, making a study of the phenomenology that this represents, with the respective hermeneutic analysis that is required, which could serve as a basis for the promotion and design of public policies for the economic development of the sector. Originality/value: This study is innovative due to the absence of research that addresses the social phenomenon of economic growth and its factors from the perspective of its protagonists, the entrepreneurs, which will contribute to the analysis of decisions for the development of these economic sectors.

Background Life satisfaction as well as job satisfaction of teachers has a significant impact on educational outcomes. Objective To evaluate a model of factors predicting life satisfaction through the mediating role of job satisfaction. Methods This was a cross-sectional study, with a sample of 300 primary school teachers of both sexes (68% female, 32% male) and with a mean age of 42.52 years (SD = 10.04). They were administered the General Self-Efficacy Scale, the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), the Workload Scale (ECT), the Generic Job Satisfaction Scale, and the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ). Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used for data analysis. Results The SEM analysis found significant goodness-of-fit indices: (χ2 = 13.739; df = 5; p = <0.001; CFI = 0.99, TLI = 0.98, RMSEA = 0.05, SRMR = 0.04). Specifically, self-efficacy and organizational commitment were positive predictors of job satisfaction, while workload was a negative predictor of job satisfaction. The mediating effect of job satisfaction between self-efficacy, life satisfaction, workload, and overall life satisfaction was confirmed. Conclusion The results confirm the importance of self-efficacy, organizational commitment, and workload in job satisfaction and overall life satisfaction of elementary education teachers. Job satisfaction acts as a mediator in this relationship. It is important to reduce workload and promote self-efficacy and organizational commitment to improve the well-being and satisfaction of teachers.

The rapid transformation of large urban concentrations in Latin America faces new challenges due to crime, especially in the most profound socio-economic contrasts between cities with high population density. This study sought to examine the features of urban victimization in Peru. The research used a quantitative, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, from data collected by the 2024 National Survey of Budgetary Programmes and analyzed with statistical software version 26.0. The use of this methodology facilitated the exploration of space, producing a more nuanced understanding and revealing unique spatial patterns of victimization across different sizes of urban areas. The results showed that victimization depends on demographic factors and the size of population centers, with higher levels of insecurity in large cities. In intermediate and small urban areas, population growth revealed a complex and even negative relationship with crime, where community cohesion may act as a protective factor. The most novel finding is that population size does not always increase criminality, as its effects vary according to social and territorial contexts. In addition, young people aged 15 to 29 were identified as the most vulnerable group, and property crimes had the highest incidence, while sexual assaults and frauds were notably underreported. t is concluded that urban victimization in Peru responds to differentiated dynamics according to the size and characteristics of population centers. The results show that population growth does not always increase crime, as in certain contexts it may be associated with protective effects. This highlights the need for citizen security policies adapted to each territory and especially focused on youth and the most recurrent crimes.

With the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), auditors can ensure the integrity of accounting data used to generate corporate financial statements. The objective of the study was to conduct a worldwide bibliometric analysis of the literature indexed in Scopus on artificial intelligence in accounting auditing from 2003 to 2023. Methodologically, it was a bibliometric, quantitative study. The scientific production indicators were generated from 559 documents selected from Scopus using keywords in English (“Accounting”, “auditing”, “artificial intelligence”). From 20011 to 2022, the number of published papers increased (83,2 %), indicating a growing interest in the subject of study. The United Kingdom is the country with the highest scientific production (14,3 %), and the University of Portsmouth with the most publications (n=13). The Accounting Auditing and Accountability Journal received 1363 citations, with the author Hussainey, K. (n=10 papers) being the most cited (n=186). It is concluded that the attention of accounting auditing is shifting towards artificial intelligence (AI), and that this shift is related to the profitability of companies, becoming an indispensable tool for accounting professionals, as it allows them to expand its application, uses and the benefits they can obtain by incorporating it in different stages.
