The objective of the study is to conduct a systematic bibliometric study of literature on the impact of generational differences in the work environment between 2004 and 2024. This work used bibliometrics as a methodology, which involved the observation of bibliometric indicators in Scopus (country, author, source, type of document, institutional affiliation, among others). In addition, a systematic review of the literature was carried out. The results show that between 2020 and 2024, there was a 29% increase in the amount of research on this topic. In terms of research contributions, the United States ranks first with 31.1%. In addition, with seven publications, the most prominent source was the Journal of Nursing Management, and with 698 citations Lyons was the most cited author. Likewise, articles related to the social sciences represented 22% of the total number of publications, while 92% of the documents were scientific articles. It is concluded that research on generational differences in the work environment has advanced, in terms of the breadth of topics addressed, collaboration of authors, level of international cooperation and availability of relevant data. Therefore, the bibliometric analysis and systematic review shows that, while the coexistence of diverse generations can generate tensions and challenges related to values, communication and expectations, it also offers a unique opportunity to enrich organizational dynamics. Finally, this study provides an empirical basis for a critical evaluation of the research and a foundation for future research.

In recent decades, the accelerated advance of digital technologies has profoundly transformed educational processes, promoting the expansion of virtual learning environments that transcend physical and temporal barriers. Objective: To determine the relationship between the role of artificial intelligence in the adaptation of students to virtual educational environments.Methodology: Quantitative and correlational, non-experimental design. Simple random sampling, with a sample of 376 university students who had studied at least one semester in virtual mode. Data collection was done through structured surveys with Likert-type scales, designed to evaluate the use of AI tools and the level of adaptation of the students. Results: AI in virtual educational environments showed a significant relationship with student adaptation, facilitating access to information and offering personalized learning experiences. Conclusions: AI enabled personalization of educational experiences, improving accessibility and making them more interactive. AI-powered learning assistants fostered active participation and greater understanding of content. The importance of avoiding over-reliance on AI tools and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and real-time feedback to continuously improve educational environments was highlighted.

Transformational Leadership and Internal Communication as Predictors of Job Performance: A Perspective of Peruvian University Workers

Transformational leadership and internal communication are widely studied variables in organizational management; however, their joint effect as simultaneous predictors of multidimensional job performance remains underexplored, particularly in Latin American higher education contexts. This study examines whether transformational leadership and internal communication jointly predict task performance, contextual performance, and counterproductive job performance among Peruvian university workers. A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and predictive correlational design was applied to a sample of 385 workers from a private Peruvian university, analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results confirm that both variables significantly predict job performance across its dimensions, with internal communication showing stronger predictive effects on task and contextual performance than transformational leadership. These findings contribute to organizational and management theory by proposing and validating a joint predictive model that addresses existing conceptual and empirical gaps in the literature, while providing evidence-based recommendations for leadership development and communication management in university institutions operating in emerging economy contexts.

The investigation of scientific resources within high-impact databases in the field of human talent and public management reveals an exponential growth trend in production during recent years. This analysis was based on the purpose of analyzing the scientific production on human talent in public management, considering its strategic and operational dimensions, as well as the challenges and opportunities for its development in the SCOPUS database. It was based on the Consolidated Meta-Analytical approach (TEMAC) using descriptors such as human talent, public management, State, taking as an investigative period 2020-2025. Among the results, it was found that most of the publications come from institutions and universities in Europe and North America, highlighting countries such as England and the United States. In contrast, the participation of Latin America is limited, with a moderate representation of countries such as Chile and Argentina. It was also identified that English is the predominant language in the publications, followed to a lesser extent by Spanish, which may limit access and visibility of research in other languages and regions.

During the last three years, Peru has been suffering from a social crisis, strikes, protests, etc., triggered by political circumstances, which forced the country to abandon, once again, face-to-face class sessions in order to adopt the virtual teaching model. In this context, the students of technological institutes have been suffering an 80% of interrupted instruction time. The aim of this study was to explore the social phenomenon of online teaching and learning, caused by emergent situations, through the accounts of students and teachers of a technical education institution. For this purpose, the qualitative approach was used, with a phenomenological design, and through the interview technique whose saturation allowed the collaboration of 31 participants. The findings of this phenomenological analysis highlight the complexity of the challenges faced by students and teachers during virtual sessions, addressing technical, social and pedagogical aspects. It infers the need to develop comprehensive strategies to improve connectivity, foster participation and address technological and emotional demands in the online educational environment.
