- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publicación, e-RetailTest: Scale to Assess the Attitude of Consumers towards E-Commerce in the Retail Sector(2023-03-10) ;Elizabeth Emperatriz García-Salirrosas ;Rafael Fernando Rondon-Eusebio; Changes in consumer behavior are driven by tastes and preferences that change over time as their socioeconomic conditions change. The objective of this study was to validate the psychometric characteristics of the e-RetailTest scale, created to measure consumer attitudes towards online shopping in developing countries, particularly in the Peruvian market. The e-RetailTest evaluates five variables present in the online purchase process: (a) quality of web design, (b) risk when making a purchase, (c) customer service, (d) security and (e) satisfaction, with a total of twenty items using a Likert scale. A total of 422 valid responses were collected from Peruvian consumers who had had online shopping experience in the retail sector. Statistically, we worked with the AFE exploratory factor analysis and the AFC confirmatory factor analysis. The results suggest that this first version of the e-RetailTest presents adequate psychometric evidence to measure the attitude of consumers towards online purchases in the retail sector in the Peruvian market. Thus, it seeks to contribute to the advancement of the study of these important variables of Latin American consumer behavior. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publicación, The Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in the Eastern Cone of Lima as a Predictor of Competitiveness and Sustainable Development(2022-12-31); ;Adriana Ruiz Berrio ;Raúl Rodríguez AntonioBeatriz Estefany AguadoGreat changes and contradictions have occurred in the economy in recent years, forcing entrepreneurs to seek solutions to increase competitiveness, maintain growth and implement mechanisms that can create permanent solutions in the future, thus promoting development. In this context, the aim of this study is to investigate whether the perception of the entrepreneurial ecosystem is a significant predictor of the perception of competitiveness and sustainable development in the Peruvian case. For this, a structural equation model was tested using data obtained from a convenience sampling method (n = 240) along with a 32-item scale, which was adapted and validated using an exploratory factor analysis. Participants of this study were actors from the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the eastern cone of Lima, 79.1% of whom were entrepreneurs and businessmen (6.2% from the industrial sector, 50.5% from the commercial sector and 22.4% from the service sector); the remaining 20.9% of the sample corresponds to university professors, students, directors and advisors of incubators and accelerators. Findings of this study suggest that the perception of these actors of the entrepreneurial ecosystem has a significant effect on its perception of competitiveness and sustainable development. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publicación, Model of Business Management Based on the Theories of Management Thinking of the Mypes(2024-01-05)Business management is a characteristic trait of entrepreneurs; under this premise, the study's objective was to design a business management model based on the management thinking theory. The methodology used in the research corresponds to a quantitative and explanatory study; 101 entrepreneurs were studied using questionnaires. The results evidenced that business management practices have a positive and significant influence (?1 = 0.1324; p < 0.001) on Gci; business management practices have a positive and significant influence (?2 = 0.9782; p < 0.001) on Gv; business management practices have a positive and significant influence (?3 = 0. 3453; p < 0.001) on Ge; business management practices having a positive and significant influence (?4 = 0.2364; p < 0.001) on Gf; and business management practices having a positive and significant influence (?5 = 0.3220; p < 0.001) on Td. It is concluded that the feasibility of the GE model is crucial for the economic performance of MSEs because it combines the productive factors to undertake and innovate a production with greater human value and a greater opportunity to motivate entrepreneurs to become promoters of changes in their economic and social environments at the expense of the mechanism of managerial thinking.

Item type:Publicación, El comercio electrónico como predictor del desempeño empresarial de las MIPYMEs en Montemorelos, Nuevo León, México(2025-12-31) ;Adriana Ruiz Berrio ;Arizú Isabel Aguilar EcheverríaThis research analyzes the relationship between the use of e-commerce and the business performance of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Montemorelos, Nuevo León. Using a quantitative approach and a correlational design, the study sought to determine the influence of digitalization on the performance of these organizations. Data was collected through surveys administered to 100 local businesses to assess the impact of digitalization on their development and growth. The study tested a null hypothesis (H0), which denied the predictive power of e-commerce, against an alternative hypothesis (H1) that affirmed it. The results of the regression analysis identified a positive and significant effect on business performance (B = 0.551, p < 0.001). Since the significance value was less than the α level of 0.05, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, confirming that the adoption of digital tools is a key predictor of business success in the studied context. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
